Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Really chill environment in a beautiful old building. Had the seafood salad which was lite and refreshing

Best place to eat for pizza. Had the cheesy bread that was amazing. Request the roof top (amazing view) great place to eat and hang out.

Ate here a few weeks ago with wife and son (21). Had T-rex and beer. Loved it. Also had spinach dip. Just OK. Beer was tap and cold as it should be. Had fun drawing on the table cover (a mean dragon). Comfort able and relaxing. Good food cold beer fair price. Can't ask for more. Really good wait staff too. We will be back.

Love the Happy Pig and the gluten free crust option! One of my favorite treats when I have business trips to Grand Forks!

Best pizza. Ever. I want these guys to franchise in SoCal where I live. Creative combinations like goat cheese, basil and prosciutto with a balsamic reduction. The other pizza I tried also was the perfect combination of ingredients you don't always find on pizza but wish you did. The pizza I had was thin crust done perfectly. We sat on the roof. Lots of stairs, but worth the climb. Find a reason to go to Grand Forks--I think they have one in Fargo too--and be prepared for great pizza.

The best pizza I've ever had. I've seriously considered having the owners ship me frozen Girlfriend Diablos. I crave this place and will one day haul my wife to North Dakota so she can experience how good this pizza is. I also still have the t-shirt, literally.

Wife and I went 2 weeks ago in the aft my wife is a thin v Crust pizza freak, we go to Mexican resorts for there pizza- we went it was an eclectic place but average service and the pizza was average we would never go back

We loved their rooftop and atmosphere. Our server was super chill and she was very helpful in suggesting they best pizza. I love that you can split half and half because all the flavors sounded so good. Crust is perfect balance of crispy and chewy. So good. Great hang out to meet friends for delicious food!

Pizza is man's greatest food invention. Because of this, we have to be extremely particular in choosing the best. I'm farley new to Grand Forks so I'm not sure which is best yet. According to most residents, it is Rhombus Guys so I had to try it out. The pizza is quite good, but not amazing. I'm more of an East Coast kinda pizza guy. I like thin crust with gooey melted mozzarella cheese. This wasn't like that, but maybe that's how Middle of America pizza is suppose to be like. Then I was told they don't make their own dough...not good in my pizza book. I'll try other pizza places in the future. Then maybe i'll change this review Or maybe not.

Easily the best pizza in Grand Forks and is always one of my first stops when I'm in town. It's pricier than other pizzas in town but, in my opinion, well worth it. The T-Rex is simply carnivore nirvana. It is a perfect balance of meat, though, as the pizza is still very, very tasty. I like to order it with the spicy marinara sauce to add a little extra kick. I also love the girlfriend diavolo when I'm in the mood for something even spicier. I also love that the beer on tab is usually very cold and they have a wide variety - not just you normal ND bar options. Finally, if you are there on a nice day make sure to get a table up on the roof - what a great place to enjoy a pizza and few cold beers! The only complaints I might have are the bruschetta (stale and largely tasteless), and overpriced and tiny cheesecake slice and the fact that delivery is slow. I will also say that once I had a pizza delivered to my hotel and the driver "didn't have change" which forced me to give him a $7 tip. I posted a complaint on their website and about 15 minutes later that same driver was at my door and refunded my whole order. THAT was impressive - so I have a great amount of respect for the management there.

So delicious!!! My husband and I came here on Sunday for a lunch date. I love pizza. Like love pizza. And I was very impressed with theirs. The waitress was sweet and the food was quick as well as the service. Oh and they have butcher paper and crayons instead of a table cloth so you can draw pictures and have fun while you wait for your food. So happy we tried this place.
(5)Alexandria J.
This place is one of the best pizza places in the states. The atmosphere is fun and they have great drink specials. It's the best and really the only place in town where you can get a drink and yummy food late at night. Their appetizers are always worth getting; I recommended the bruschetta. Their pizzas remind me of what I can find in northern Italy. They have a large selection of toppings so you can customize any pizza to make it your favorite. The waitstaff can be a hit or miss, but overall it's an A.

Pizza is pretty good - extremely good given the Scandinavian background of NoDak and NW Minnesota. (I hail from Chicago so that's my personal benchmark.) Good crust and sauce. I had the Arron (sic) Special and found it very good. Staff are friendly, helpful but a tad prone to disarray when in the weeds - but that's picking nits. I was expecting a college pizza joint but it's more like an extremely casual adult place. (OTOH, there were some young kids and they had a good time and fit in well) In all, I recommend. I shall also return and, when my wife visits later this summer, will offer it as a place to try. Believe me, and that's a sterling valuation.
(4)Brittany E.
This place is a little more expensive for pizza, but I highly recommend going here with friends. There is plenty of pizza to go around and splitting the check makes it cheaper. The T-Rex or the Louisiana are the pizzas I recommend trying. The wait staff is friendly, plus you can color on the table! Easily the best pizza in Grand Forks, with a great atmosphere. If it's warm, sit up on the roof!

We ordered on a snowy Friday and had our food delivered in under an hour. I was excited to order since they deliver a bit later and had some ingredients that most places don't carry. We both opted for our own med pizzas since we couldn't agree and wanted leftovers for the next day. He got the blue cheese specialty and I got a custom with fresh mozz, black olive, pepperoni and basil. When our guy showed up we found out that instead of med we got larges. Ok, my fault, she told me how much it was and I should have caught it. We got eating and the quality just wasn't there. His pizza wasn't spectacular and wasn't hitting the good notes that he thought it was going to have. My pizza was missing a topping and the cheese found itself sliding to one side of the pizza. I've worked in a pizza joint before and the pizzas looked like they were rushed (Iike it should be on a fri night) but all the flavor went with it too. Won't be getting pizza from there again. Maybe something else on the menu, just not that.
(2)Brittany S.
These guys have some of the most creative pizzas! I highly recommend $1/slice night, because then you can try the ones that you aren't sure about! In the summer they also have pizza w/ rooftop movie nights, which are awesome!!

Ok, Grand Forks is what it is food wise.... Food chains, pizza, burgers and deep fried .... Finding decent food is a real challenge So this pizza place stands out from the rest. Good decent pizza. Thinner crust pizza style ( that I prefer) many theme pizza's, good quality ingredients, crust is a good quality with body and flavor. Not cardboard chain style type crusts. What would make this pizza outstanding and best in town would be a wood fired oven like the toasted frog, but you have to be. 21 or older to eat there. So for all this is the best ....I have had in Grand Forks sure it costs a bit more but as the saying goes you get what you pay for....
(4)Joy H.
Very good pizza with some interesting selections. I was very impressed by this place. It was one of my favorite places to eat when I lived in the area.
(4)Roger C.
Amazing pizza - wonderful selection. We don't like eating there, though, as the hosts are militant about where you can sit, and the atmosphere is a bit rowdy. We love the food, and will be eating it by take-out every chance we get
(4)Luke W.
This pizzeria tries hard and is consistently good for what it is. If you have never had a more high-end pizza with unique toppings its good. However, if you have ate at some of the better pizzerias in the country then it's average. For Grand Forks, it's amazing! Seriously! One of the few restaurants worth eating at in Grand Forks. Also, their trivia night is a lot of fun too. Overall, a solid pizza, good salads, and amazing cheesy bread!
(3)Chelsey S.
Every pizza is amazing! Doesn't matter which one you pick. If I had to pick my favorites - Deluxe or Girlfriend Diavolo. Deluxe just because I'm a sucker for supreme pizza. The Girlfriend because it's spicy and has pineapple! Great little bar downtown. Great atmosphere. Good drinks. Good staff. Don't forget to draw a picture on the parchment paper table cloths
(5)Sarah B.
Love their specials on Tuesdays, the pizza is excellent every other night of the week as well. Great selection of beers and ciders. Rhombus guys is a bright spot in the otherwise dark culinary desert of Grand Forks. Also, the waitstaff is great! They're fast, attentive, and just good at what they do.
(4)Heather J.
I don't go here very often because it's expensive. But they're very cool about vegetarian and vegan options. The food I've had is delicious (The Backpacker!) and the service is fairly decent. I've had a few times where the service has been really bad. But other times that it's been really good. It gets busy and loud and sometimes the drunk people in there don't make it a very good place to bring kids (even around dinner time).
(4)Jordan E.
THE best pizza in town. The service is good too, but it sometimes takes a little time because they make pizzas fresh to order, but it's what makes the pizza good! I especially like eating in the rooftop on a nice day, but sometimes it's too long of a wait for rooftop seating because it's so small, plus it also has a bar up top too. Rhombus is an unique place because it has multiple bars, yet has very good food, and is kid friendly because it doesn't get wild in there and they let kids color with crayons on the paper table sheet.
(5)Stephen M.
They have the best pizza in town! I've never had a bad meal here; although, I wish they were a little more affordable. They also have a great staff, they're very polite and ready to serve you. I also enjoy how they started serving Angry Orchard: best beer ever!
(5)Michelle W.
Besides the fact that there really aren't many places to go here in GF... this is one of the places you might find me. Fun place to hang and have drinks with friends & have conversation. They have various things going on to keep things interesting. MNF Mondays, Trivia Tuesdays, I don't know about Wednesday & Thursday maybe Karaoke or something? bands sometimes on Friday nights... I'm actually super bummed its getting cold and we can't sit on the rooftop patio any more... *sigh* already anxious for summer. Anyhow, I like the bread sticks here & some pizza flavors are better than others in my opinion. But get this, they have a plethora of veggie options, HOORAY! The backpacker is my current fave pizza, YUM!. Veggies are fresh. I will admit, not the best pizza I've ever had, but pretty good. Better than most of the other joints in town, although a little more expensive.... but you can't get artichokes on your pizza at the other places :) I dig the 3 stories & three bars in the summer time (2 when it's cold) the stairs are a little narrow and there are only a couple of bathrooms & they are on the second floor, you have been warned. The place reminds me of a joint you might find in Chicago, I like.
(4)Stuart R.
Very Good pizza and service. Recommend seating on the first floor. Roof top is loaded with bees mid August and distracted from the dinner.
(4)Chad H.
I've eaten here twice. I thought the pizza was pretty good, probably even the best in town. But $20+ for a decent sized pizza is a bit more than I want to spend, which is why I'm not a regular. Plus the place is very small and gets very crowded at nights, and the wait staff struggles to keep up.
(4)Jerry S.
Great spot. We came in from Los Angeles to visit UND for my son. We ordered the chicken wings....hot and the their famous pizza T Rex. Servings big and pizza was great. Fun atmosphere ...waitresses were attentive and the beer cold. With my son going to aviation school we will be back.

It's been said before, but it is true - this is the best pizza place in Grand Forks and dare I say it, maybe the best pizza joint in North Dakota. Now that should make you sit up and take notice! They are a bit more than the other guys in town, but that little bit extra goes towards some great pizza. Other reviews have said that The Rockefeller is their best pizza, and I have to agree. It's a pizza with shrimp on it, but don't let that throw you off - it is out of this world great. The amount of pizza choices on their menu is staggering. They've also got a good selection of other non-pizza items such as wings, salads and soups as well. Overall, a bit pricey, but truly worth it. Skip those cardboard tasting, cheese-coated Frisbees from the chains and get something from Rhombus. You won't be disappointed.
(5)Stephanie F.
Mediocre pizza. It's good, but it's not Italian. If you're expecting NY pizza, you're going to be disappointed. Service is good.
(3)Reed R.
Best pizza in Grand Forks, and it also rivals a lot of pizza joints in bigger cities. I was recently in Grand Forks for a couple weeks visiting relatives, and I was able to try this place out. I liked it so much, that I had it again before I left. Like most pizza places, they are willing and able to make a pizza half and half, so basically I tried six of their pizza specialties. And I must say that they all blew me away, but my most favorite was the "girlfriend diavolo". This is the only pizza I like that has pineapples on it. The drawback with any good pizza is that it costs a lot, and Rhombus guy's pizza is no exception, roughly 20 bucks per pie. It's quite a bit of money (especially for a place trying to be a college town pizza place) but honestly, it's worth the cost.
(5)james f.
Great pizza and service. I had a split t-rex and thai chicken and the thai chicken ended up getting most of the attention. Sauce was good and the crust thickness was perfect in my opinion.
(4)Traver J.
I don't get this place. Everyone seems to rave about it, but I think it's mediocre. Its pretty expensive and it's OK pizza. It's not bad by any means, but I'd expect it to be about 10 bucks cheaper than what it actually is.
(2)Drew B.
Hands down, the best pizza in the Grand Forks area. This restaurant is located downtown, and makes some good 'za. They don't just limit themselves to the usual pizzas... they have some clever creations on their menu that work well. If you haven't been there yet, you should certainly check it out. Be prepared, however... the menu is certainly on the pricy side, especially for a pizza place. I hope the restaurant can get a little more business to allow it to drop the prices a bit. That being said, the pizza is still worth it. Recommended.

Maybe I've become overly spoiled with boutique pizza places in other parts of the country, but while I liked Rhombus while visiting on business, I can't say that I was overwhelmed. It was clean and the service was polite, and the thin-crust T-Rex pie that I ordered was well endowed with meat, but it just didn't jump out at me in any way, either. Not being able to compare it to other places in ND, I can't say how it stacks up against the local competition. I would say it's better than just about any chain-store pizza I've ever had, so if you're in the mood for pizza in Grand Forks, I think this would be a great place to start your search.
(3)Dalith W.
This is not your normal run of the mill pizza. The crust is exceptional, the toppings fresh and heaped on heavily. The sauce was good but not as much as I would have liked. I went there with my 12 year old son who loved the T-Rex and killed the left overs for breakfast. The ambiance is a bit eclectic and interesting if your into that sort of thing. I would recommend to pizza lovers.
(4)Noneya L.
Recently I ordered the large Tuscany pizza, and it was a better experience. Don't order the small or medium pizza because their dough is too thick. If you order the large pizza the dough is perfect, not too thick and not like thin crust cracker pizza. I also ordered the thin crust pizza (large) and it was like crackers, I thought the regular LARGE pizza was better.
